DISPUTED FINES
If you believe your parking fine is unjustified, you can apply to have it waived. To apply for a waiver, click on the parking infringements button below, select the view infringement icon and follow the prompts.
INVALID REASONS
Drivers are reminded they are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is parked according to signage. Ports North will not waive a fee for:
Parking machines
No payment associated with vehicle registration.
Did not see the signs or ticket machine.
Expired payment - not purchasing additional time to allow for unexpected delays.
Accessible parking spaces
Parking in an accessible space without displaying a valid accessible parking permit.
Continuous parking
Vehicle parked longer than the time limit specified.
Bus zone
Any vehicle not classified as a bus.
Taxi zone
Any vehicle other than a taxi or uber.
No parking anytime
Stopping in a no parking zone longer than two minutes and the driver is not present at the vehicle.
No stopping anytime
Parking in a no stopping zone.
Stopping on a road with a continuous yellow edge line.
